Hi friends!! I hope that you are all having a wonderful week thus far. Since this pandemic is still in full force I have a feeling there will be a lot more online shopping than in store this year, and also with all the shipping delays I thought this would be a good time to share with you all some gift guides that I put together & could be helpful for anyone who will be shopping the sales of Black Friday/Cyber Monday. However, if you wont be shopping quite yet, you can still use this post to refer to when you are ready to do any holiday shopping for your friends/loved ones (or even yourself).
Furloughed as a Flight Attendant ✈️ : What’s Next
As some of you may already know, I am a flight attendant for a major US airline. The pandemic has had a severely negative impact on the aviation industry and during the first week of September I was informed that I will be furloughed from my job as of October 3rd. This news was devastating to me because this career has been my dream job since I was hired back in 2013.
Travel Guide: The Florida Keys and Dry Tortugas National Park
Over the 4th of July weekend, Fred and I spontaneously decided to take a road trip down to the Florida Keys. It’s about a 4 hour drive, depending on traffic, from where we live to Key West. We love this particular road trip because the drive down is very scenic.
Vizcaya Museum & Gardens
I’ve lived in south Florida for almost six years and have always wanted to visit the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. I finally had a weekend off when the weather was nice and decided to make the short trip down to the Coconut Grove area of Miami
Kennedy Space Center
We’ve always wanted to visit the Kennedy Space Center and finally found an opportunity to do that during one of our trips to Orlando last year
