Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021 Wish List

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021 Wish List

I wasn’t sure that I wanted to make a post dedicated to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year but I had a few close girlfriends ask me about what I thought of this year’s sale. Although this post won’t be quite as detailed as last year’s, I did want to share what’s on my wish list that I’m hoping to purchase when I can shop the sale this Friday - July 16.

I was pretty happy to see the selection of shoes, bags, and accessories this year, and definitely loving a lot of neutral items that I know will be versatile in my wardrobe for years to come. I have been eyeing this neutral Marc Jacobs bag & wallet for a while now and was happy to see it was included in the sale.

I also have been wearing white sneakers more often than any other shoe lately so I’m hoping to get this pair from Sam Edelman. Sneakers can be worn in so many different ways and are perfect when traveling because they’re good for lots of walking (or running for those of us with tight connections at the airport) lol.

Although I live in Florida where its warm year round, we do have a few trips planned this fall/winter to places that have colder climates. Keeping on trend with the neutrals I found this BB Dakota Drape Front Cardigan Coat and it’s under $80!

In my opinion, the spanx faux leather leggings of this year’s sale is the Slip silk pillowcase set! If you aren't sleeping on a silk pillowcase do yourself a favor and make this your one purchase of the sale this year. There are several benefits to sleeping on a silk pillowcase like waking up with less “bed head” and also helping to prevent wrinkles.

I also wanted to include the RIKI mirror that my Mom gifted me last year during the sale. It’s perfect for travel & also great if you’re getting ready at night and don’t have good bathroom lighting.

Although I didn’t get too many opportunities to wear a lot of my NSale purchases from last year (thanks to Covid) I am going to share a few ways I did style my favorite and most worn items starting with this suede mini skirt I paired with a black scoop neck bodysuit & these over the knee black suede boots that I’ve had for several years. It was the perfect outfit for a date night out with Fred last fall.

I know that every year the spanx faux leather leggings are all the rave but I can honestly say they are one of my most worn pieces when I travel to cooler climates during the fall/winter months. Not only do they take up minimal room in you luggage (which leaves more room for extra accessories) but they are so versatile from day to night. I’ve shown a few different ways I styled them last year.

Last but certainly not least is this sweater dress that I paired with snakeskin booties, a lightweight cardigan and a wool hat. This was hands down my favorite outfit from last year’s sale. I wore it on repeat with no shame!
